Flexible work is great...particularly when you can realllly take advantage of the flexibility. I just got back from a 10 day trip to Scotland to watch and play a bunch of
golf. I was able to set expectations with my clients such that I worked very little while I was gone, and it was very nice to be so unplugged.

Posting this win a little late, but I signed my first client 2 weeks ago. He used to head data science at the startup I'm at. He quit and started his own company. I'm helping him set up his base machine learning infrastructure.

Just signed a 3 month contract for 20 hours a week with a healthcare company! I gave them a rate that was pretty high thinking they would bargain down, but they didn't negotiate at all. Thanks @Bradley Jacobs for the bootcamp session on fighting for your rate!

I landed a $20k project last week!!!
